FINALLY, my bag was returned to me @ 9:30am

Everything is present and accounted for -yay- (so no huffing or puffing for me)

(I wonder if I should sue them for delays )

Well,

I stil don’t have my bag, but I managed to get in touch with the airport around 11:15am and they told me that all the missing bags were coming around 11:24am (yay :D) and thay they would call me later so that we can arrange the delivery…

Guess what! …

They didn’t call, I really hope that my bag has arrived, and hope that they will give deliver it tomorrow morning, and hope that it’s in one piece, because if any one of my hope is not met I’LL HUFF AND PUFF AND (well, you know the rest of the story ;))

Just to let you know it been 3 bloomin’ days that Alitalia lost my bag :-X

I called every day to know where my bloody bag is, and the only reply is that it’s in Milan, so my next question in “WHAT THE HELL IS IT DOING IN MILAN?!”

I’m tired, and bored from this hassel, next Monday I have to leave for work (again!) and I might not make it this time, I wonder who will reimburse me and my company for the loss of work?

If I could turn back time, I would have stayed in Tunis till the 10th and not get Alitalia, they have managed to loose my bag for the 4th time in 7 trips I took with them (you would think that I learned my lesson) but no!! I keep forgetting (someone kick me please!!)

I called Alitalia (Paris office) this morning, and explained everything to the lady, she told me that I need to call the Airport for the first 5 days, I tried to explain, but she repeated the same sentence 2 times then hanged up!! (I GOT PISSED) I cursed and shouted so load that all of my colleague turned around to see what’s wrong, I called back, and by chance I cought the same lady, and the first thing I told her was “If you close the phone on my face again I’ll sue you so fast you’ld wish that you were’nt born!!” she quited down, and I managed to explain that I’m leaving next week, she said that she could’nt do anything (WTF!! :?) then why are you working at the lost baggage dept.? she had the courage to tell me that I needed to send an official compliant to Alitalia in Italy since I was an Italian national, I hanged up on her face (she’ll hear from me soon)

So, I called the Airport again (after numerous tries with no answers), and a lady answered, and she confirmed that the bag is in Milan, I repeated the question “WHY? WHEN IT WILL BE HERE? WHY DIDN’T THEY RECIEVE IT?” gadnabbit!!! I paid a Business class service, she promissed that she would call me back, it’s 7:40pm right now and no one called (she will here from me tomorrow).

I found this fantastic website, I’ll have to read it and see if they can help me in any way.

Well I’m back home more or less in one piece

The trip was nice, the service of the crew of Alitalia was ok, they always had a smile, the trip took me to Milan then Marseille before reaching Montpellier, I had forgotten to check the diparture time from Milan to Marseille, and the out come was that my bagage was lost (again :?)

It always happens when I take Alitalia with a 2h or less stop over, I honestly don’t know why? AirFrance handles the bags differently, once the plane was late and when I reached Paris I had less than 30 minutes to catch my connecting flight (you could immagine how worried I was), but when I disembarked from tha plane, I saw a guy holding a piece of paper with my name on it, he took me with the car back to the plane, asked me to pick out my bag (he verified the sticker) then took me and the bag directly to the plane, he put the bag in the cargo hold and I embarked, no worries, no hassel, no fuss.

Currently both airlines are part of an alliance called SkyTeam

I don’t know about the other companies, but I don’t know why there is a big difference between the two seeing that they have a common goal and alliance
