Blabbercamel scam

Money
الـــنـــقـــود
It can buy a house
نستطيع شراء المنزل بالنقود
But not a home
لكن لا نستطيع شراء عائلة
It can buy a clock
نستطيع شراء الساعة
But not time
و لكن لا نستطيع شراء الوقت
It can buy you a position
نستطيع شراء المنصب
But it not respect
لكن لا نستطيع شراء الاحترام
It can buy you a bed
نستطيع شراء السرير
But not sleep
ولكن لا نستطيع شراء النوم
It can buy you a book
نستطيع شراء الكتب
But not knowledge
لكن لا نستطيع شراء العلم
It can buy you medicine
نستطيع شراء الدواء
But not health
و لكن لا نستطيع شراء الصحه
It can buy you blood
نستطيع شراء الدم
But not life
و لكن لا نستطيع شراء الحياة

So you see money isn’t everything
فلذلك يجب أن تعرف أن النقود ليست كل شيء
And it often causes pain and suffering
و في بعض الأحيان تخلق النقود لنا المعاناة والمشاكل و الألم
I tell you this because I am your friend
فأنا أخبرك بهذا لأني أعتبر نفسي أحد أصدقائك
And as your friend I want to
ولأني صديق سأنصحك بنصيحة
Take away your pain and suffering!!
و لذلك ابعد عن نفسك الهموم و الألم

So
Send me all your money
فأرسل لي جميع ما تملك من نقود
And i will suffer for you!
و أنا سأعاني بدلا عنك
Cash only please
و لو سمحت تكون الفلوس

كاش

Don’t worry this is not a Nigerian 914 scam, this one is 100% legit I’ll suffer for you “I promise” ;)

SCAM
Thanks “I” :D

Riiiiight!!

by jirukun on Jun.26, 2007, under 3arabi, Dumb, KSA, Politics

Remember a few posts back?

I remember reading an update on the BBC a while back,  but today I got pissed off reading this.

I’m not going to translate the whole thing, this gist is that “SOMEONE” from OUTSIDE the religious agency is the culprit.

  • Who was he? Was he an over zealous friend of a muttawa3?
  • Who was he? Was he one of the many “rubber necks” that gather around what is happening to watch?
  • Is it a cover up?

I’m more inclined to the third point.

I’m not against the religion or anything, but I had innumerable run ins with the religious police when I used to live in camel land, and they were idiots! stupid! ignorant! uneducated people! (with a few exceptions). Seriously how can a person not working for the agency get in and kill a person? If it was a “by stander” how could they let him in and HIT one of the suspects? Did they just watch?

The Arabic article stated that the members of the religious police were 18, so how can this guy get in and not being seen and hit the suspect?

I really believe in the Islamic religion and it’s law’s, I hope that the guy is going to get what he deserves, and if this is a cover up to “clean” the name of the religious police they would need to find better excuses (WE ARE NOT IN THE MIDDLE AGES, AND WE ARE NOT STUPID)

Camels maybe ;)

-LIES-

by jirukun on Dec.10, 2006, under 3arabi, Dumb, Politics

Ok..
So I woke up this morning to prepare my self for the trip, and I read the newspapers like I do every morning, and what do I see?!
This lie!

Now based in the reports of Transparency International says a totally different thing (Search for “CPI 2006″)
When I saw the title I immediately remembered a post in Mahmood’s Den that contained the correct table (Saudi is #70 with the likes of India, Egypt,…etc…)

This only shows that the newspapers in KSA are faking… wait I just remembered I’m talking about SAUDI ARABIA and not BAHREIN or QATAR!!! (sorry my mistake!! ;))

3an8arisi (Arabic English)

by jirukun on Aug.29, 2006, under 3arabi, Engrish, Languages

What in darnation is threeaneightarisi? :?

Before I answer this question I would like to explain a few things, starting with another question.

  • What is a language?

“A language is a system of signals, such as voice sounds, gestures or written symbols that encode or decode information”

Examples:

  1. English
  2. Italian
  3. Russian
  4. Japanese
  5. Spanish
  6. German
  7. Tagaloog
  8. Arabic
  9. …etc ..

They say there are 105 official languages in this world, and not counting the dialects and sub-dialects in each language [did you know that Bulgarian is the only language in the world that doesn't have a dialect?!]

So what’s 3angarisi?

I’m getting to it don’t rush me…

Ok, we explained what is a language, and hinted that there are dialects in each language, so the next logical question is

  • What is a dialect?

A dialect is the modification of the sound/grammar of one or more words, or the use of a non standard/existant word to replace an existing word in the original language.

This is very easly seen in

Arabic (Saudi, Kuwaity, Emaraty, Bahreni, Masri, ….etc…)

The traditional word for the Saudi male costume is “Thobe”, in Kuwait they call it “Dishdasha”

English (British English, American English, Indian English, EngRish, …etc..)

  • Wait a minute!! what is Engrish?

Hey, I thought you’d never ask… Engrish is a Pseudo dialect used by Japanese, it comes from the non existance of the “L” sound in the Japanese language which is replaced by the “R” sound, so London would be pronounced Rondon, calendar to carendar (the myth of changing the R’s back to L’s is a fake)

  • So you mean some thing like this?

 Pharmacy situation

Not quite, but you get the idea :)

What I meant with this post is the use of the Latin characters (or numerals) to write Arabic words for example

Train :pronounced Quitar or qetar  قـطار

Some poeple would write it 8etar (with the number “8″ ), meaning that some letters are substituted by numbers representing a specific sound

7 (ha) ح

‘7 (kha) خ

8 (gha) ق

6 (ta) ط

‘6 (tha) ظ

3 (ain) ع

‘3 (gain) غ

Now seeing that there is no عـنـقـريزي who would like to write the rules for it?

:)
