It’s time for me to pack up and head to a weekly site visit

I’m happy since I’ll meet my colleague who I didn’t see for almost a year and catch up with my weight gain program ;P (Don’t worry Kabsa I’ll be back on a diet on January)

I remember reading an update on the BBC a while back,  but today I got pissed off reading this.

I’m not going to translate the whole thing, this gist is that “SOMEONE” from OUTSIDE the religious agency is the culprit.

• Who was he? Was he an over zealous friend of a muttawa3?
• Who was he? Was he one of the many “rubber necks” that gather around what is happening to watch?
• Is it a cover up?

I’m more inclined to the third point.

I’m not against the religion or anything, but I had innumerable run ins with the religious police when I used to live in camel land, and they were idiots! stupid! ignorant! uneducated people! (with a few exceptions). Seriously how can a person not working for the agency get in and kill a person? If it was a “by stander” how could they let him in and HIT one of the suspects? Did they just watch?

The Arabic article stated that the members of the religious police were 18, so how can this guy get in and not being seen and hit the suspect?

I really believe in the Islamic religion and it’s law’s, I hope that the guy is going to get what he deserves, and if this is a cover up to “clean” the name of the religious police they would need to find better excuses (WE ARE NOT IN THE MIDDLE AGES, AND WE ARE NOT STUPID)

Camels maybe

La Folie décida d’inviter ses amis pour prendre un café chez elle.
Tous les invités y allèrent. Après le café la Folie proposa:
- On joue à cache-cache?
- Cache-cache? C’est quoi, ça? demanda la Curiosité.
- Cache-cache est un jeu. Je compte jusqu’à cent et vous vous cachez. Quand j’ai Fini de compter je cherche, et le premier que je trouve sera le prochain compter.

Tous acceptèrent sauf la Peur et la Paresse.
- 1, 2, 3,… la Folie commença à compter.
L’Empressement se cacha le premier, n’importe où.
La Timidité, timide comme toujours, se cacha dans une touffe d’arbre.
La Joie courut au milieu du jardin.
La Tristesse commença à pleurer, car elle ne trouvait pas d’endroit approprié pour se cacher.
L’Envie accompagna le Triomphe et se cacha près de lui derrière un rocher.
La Folie continuait de compter tandis que ses amis se cachaient.
Le Désespoir était désespéré en voyant que la Folie était déjà à soixante-neuf.
- CENT, cria la Folle, je vais commencer à chercher…
La première à être trouvée fut la Curiosité, car elle n’avait pu empêcher de sortir de sa cachette pour voir qui serait le premier découvert. En regardant sur le côté, la Folie vit le Doute au-dessus d’une clôture ne sachant pas de quel côté il serait mieux caché. Et ainsi de suite, elle découvrit la Joie, la Tristesse, la Timidité..
Quand ils étaient tous réunis, la Curiosité demanda:
- Où est l’Amour? Personne ne l’avait vu.
La Folie commença à le chercher. Elle chercha au-dessus d’une montagne, dans les rivières au pied des rochers. Mais elle ne trouvait pas l’Amour. Cherchant e tous côtés, la Folie vit un rosier, pris un bout de bois et commença à chercher parmi les branches, lorsque soudain elle entendit un cri. C’était l’Amour, ui criait parce qu’une épine lui avait crevé un oeil. La Folie ne savait pas quoi faire. Elle s’excusa, plora l’Amour pour avoir son pardon et alla jusqu’à ui promettre de le suivre pour toujours. L’Amour accepta les excuses.
Aujourd’hui l’Amour est aveugle et la Folie l’accompagne toujours.

Madness decided to invite her friends for coffee at her place.

All the invitees went. After coffee Madness proposed:
- Shall we play hide & go seek?
- Hide & go seek? what is that? asked Curiosity.
- Hide & go seek is a game, I count till 100 and you hide, when I finish counting I start looking for you, the first one I find will start counting in the next round.
All but fear and idleness accepted.
-1, 2, 3,… Madness started counting.
Eagerness was first, he hides him self in the first place he found.
Timidity (timid as always) hides in a tuft of a tree.
Joy ran in the middle of the field
Sadness started crying, it couldn’t find a proper place to hide in.
Envy accompanied Triumph and hid him self behind a rock.
Madness continues to count while her friends are hiding.
Despair is despaired seeing that Madness was at 69.
- One Hundred, said Madness. I’m coming to find you…
The first to be found was Curiosity, she couldn’t help her self to see who was the first one to be caught. And looking on the side, Madness saw Doubt over a fence since it didn’t know on what side was best to hide. And so on, she finds Joy, Sadness, Timidity…
When they were all reunited, curiosity asked:
- Where is Love? no one has seen her.
Madness starts looking for her. She searches over the mountain, in the rivers at the foot of the rocks. But it can’t find Love. Looking in all directions, Madness saw a rose tree, takes a stick and started looking within the branches, when suddenly she heard a cry. it was Love, she cried because a thorn got into her eye. Madness didn’t know what to do. She said she was sorry, begged Love to have her forgiveness, she promissed to follow her and look after her forever. Love accepted her appologies.
Today Love is blind and Madness is right behind her.

Work is chaos but hopefully it will be fixed soon, I’ll give a complete update this coming Sunday (Inshaa’ Allah)

استطلاع غربي: السعودية من أقل البلدان فسادا في العالم

احتلت
السعودية، المركز الخامس من بين 100 دولة في العالم، في درجة خلوها من
الفساد المالي والإداري، وسبقت بذلك بريطانيا والنرويج وسويسرا وأميركا،
في حين جاء قبلها في الترتيب كل من فنلندا والدنمارك ونيوزيلندا
وسينغافورة. وأظهرت دراسة نشرت نتائجها مؤخرا مؤسسة غالوب العالمية
للاستطلاعات، أن لبنان وبولندا وليتوانيا من أكثر البلدان فسادا من بين
الدول التي أجريت فيها الدراسة. كما احتل المغرب المركز 93 في نسبة
الفساد، والأردن 26 ولم تسمح بقية الدول العربية بإجراء الدراسة فيها.
وسمحت إسرائيل بإدخالها في الاستطلاع فجاءت في الترتيب 84 في نسبة الفساد.

وجرى
تحديد ترتيب الدول المائة في نسبة الفساد، بناء على نتيجة الإجابة عن
سؤالين مهمين هما: هل الفساد منتشر بشكل واسع في الدوائر الحكومية في
الدولة المعنية؟ وهل الفساد منتشر بشكل واسع بين المؤسسات التجارية في
الدولة المعنية، وكلما قل عدد المجيبين بنعم على هذين السؤالين في الدولة
المستهدفة، ارتفع ترتيبها في درجة الخلو من الفساد. كما استعانت مؤسسة
غالوب كذلك، بإحصاءات من منظمة الشفافية الدولية ونتائج استطلاعات شملت
أكثر من 11 ألف شخص في 125 بلدا.

Now based in the reports of Transparency International says a totally different thing (Search for “CPI 2006″)
When I saw the title I immediately remembered a post in Mahmood’s Den that contained the correct table (Saudi is #70 with the likes of India, Egypt,…etc…)

This only shows that the newspapers in KSA are faking… wait I just remembered I’m talking about SAUDI ARABIA and not BAHREIN or QATAR!!! (sorry my mistake!! ;))

I really need to limit the stuff I’m taking with me, so on this trip I’m not going to take 3-4 DVD’s with me less things (except)

• A mini-USB cable (for tranferring data between the PC-PSP-HDD)
• PSP’s power supply (to charge the PSP)
• Notebook’s power supply (to charge the notebook)
• IPOD + transfer and charger cable (music)
• Network cable (to connect to the network)
• Notebook (for work)
• PSP + a few UMD’s  (for playing and watching videos during the trip)
• External HDD (extra storage is always usefull :))

 :? Appart from the DVD’s that I replaced with the UMD’s I don’t see anything else I can limit.
I think I need to workout

Anyhow, tomorrow I’m travelling to Cagliari :D, I’ll leave around 9am and reach 5pm.

As you may already heard two Saudi prison guards have been killed by militants of Al-Qaeda {BBC (EN), Al-Riyadh Newspaper (AR), Al Jazeera (EN), Al-Sharq Al-Awsat (AR)}

Honestly I do not understand why these idiots just fire on the guards?! did they really think they could have helped their similars escape from a FORTIFIED prison?! What did the guards (Allah yer7amhum) do to them?!

Judging from this picture (I presume it was the one used in the shooting)

only proves that they are not only ignorant extremists but extreemly stupid as well

May God grant the two guards heaven, and save the country and it’s innocent people Inshaa’ Allah
