Arrividerci

by jirukun on Dec.09, 2006, under Food, Friends, Italiano, Italy, Meridiana, Personal, Travel, Work

I’m becoming a pack rat, before every trip I try to put {shove} more and more stuff in my bags :)
My carry on bag is my laptop as well, and I’m trying to cram in more and more things to a point that the bag does not stay up, and it’s heavy as rock :?

I really need to limit the stuff I’m taking with me, so on this trip I’m not going to take 3-4 DVD’s with me less things (except)

  • A mini-USB cable (for tranferring data between the PC-PSP-HDD)
  • PSP’s power supply (to charge the PSP)
  • Notebook’s power supply (to charge the notebook)
  • IPOD + transfer and charger cable (music)
  • Network cable (to connect to the network)
  • Notebook (for work)
  • PSP + a few UMD’s  (for playing and watching videos during the trip)
  • External HDD (extra storage is always usefull :))

:? Appart from the DVD’s that I replaced with the UMD’s I don’t see anything else I can limit.
I think I need to workout ;)

Anyhow, tomorrow I’m travelling to Cagliari :D, I’ll leave around 9am and reach 5pm.

Catch you all there
 :D Arrividerci :D

Che Schifo…

by jirukun on Dec.08, 2006, under Dumb, Italiano, Personal, Religion

That’s Italian for discusting (pronounced “ke skifo”) -blech-

As you may already heard two Saudi prison guards have been killed by militants of Al-Qaeda {BBC (EN), Al-Riyadh Newspaper (AR), Al Jazeera (EN), Al-Sharq Al-Awsat (AR)}

Honestly I do not understand why these idiots just fire on the guards?! did they really think they could have helped their similars escape from a FORTIFIED prison?! What did the guards (Allah yer7amhum) do to them?!

Judging from this picture (I presume it was the one used in the shooting)

only proves that they are not only ignorant extremists but extreemly stupid as well :-x

May God grant the two guards heaven, and save the country and it’s innocent people Inshaa’ Allah

I’m off

by jirukun on Nov.25, 2006, under Food, France, Italiano, Spain, Travel, Work

After a whole week staying at home, I’m off to the wild blue yonder.

Tomorrow morning I’m leaving for Barcelona then La Coruna, I’ll be back Saturday.

I got the car my company rented for me, I was shocked to know that I’ll have to keep the car at the airport (usually I drop it off and pick another one when I get back) but this way the company will save over €260 in rental, I have a 4h drive in front of me before reaching the airport, but at least I’ll save one flight and (the ugliest part of travelling) an airport, but on the other hand I’ll finally listen to good music and have a REAL lunch (french cuisine is overhyped beautiful to see, tastes good, but the portions are microscopic)
Look at this picture (nouvelle cuisine)

And this one (Real food) Paella ~yum~ ;)

As the Italian saying goes “Pancia mia fatti capanna!” [roughly translates to : "Stomach of mine become a hut!"] :D

Buon Appetito err… I meant Hasta Lluego :)

Back @ work

by jirukun on Aug.28, 2006, under Italiano, Languages, Travel, Work

Bummer :?

Two (2) weeks really fly don’t they, it was yesterday that I remember jumping around in the office because my office hours were finished and I was officialy in vacation :(

I have a week or two saved up for future needs ;) and in two weeks time I’ll be leaving for Athens for a week (work related) -yay- :) :D :)

Seeing an increase intrest in the Italian language, it might be of some help if you are trying to learn the language.

If anyone has or knows of any other similar sites for Arabic, Spanish, Japanese please let me know and I’ll make a list of the sites.
