Happy belayed 1 month anniversary

27 August 2008 8:01 pm

Honey,

A month and 2-3 days have passed since we got married.

I can’t stop thinking of how I’m happy and lucky to have you and being next to you.

On the other hand I have to admit that the *MAJOR* changes done at home did render it much more livable and better looking ;) — Sorry for the work I made you do.

I <3 YOU

IPhone jealousy?

24 August 2008 7:10 pm

Did you ever see anyone getting jealous of his proper mobile phone?

My wife bought a Nokia N95 a couple of weeks ago, all simply because one of her friends had a similar phone, so she wanted to best him. She could have decided to buy -I don’t know maybe- an IPhone or any other phone, but she decided to stick to her decision.

Comparisons

Strangely enough she’s been stuck on my IPhone playing the various free games found on the apps store :(

I know that on the comparison above the Nokia has a clear advantage, but trust me, if you didn’t use an IPhone then you won’t know what I’m talking about. :)

Does anyone know where I can find a good game for the N95 so that I could install it for her? I want my IPhone back!!! ;)

Last stretch…

Yep… 10 days to go (Insha’ Allah)

I’m getting a bit nervous due to the things I’m finishing and preparing…

By a nose

  1. Finish cleaning the appartment (2-3 day tops to finsh)
  2. Buy new furniture (sofa, ..etc..)
  3. Decide how to go to Marseille (train or rental?)
  4. Rent a car in Tunis
  5. Rent a car for the return trip

Obviously there are other minor points here & there but I don’t want to spill my beans everywhere ;)

But I have faith in GOD then my self to pull this off :D

My wife finally saw Rico’s & Rubi’s wedding pictures, she liked them a lot. :)

The down side is that she told me that I was fat! Me FAT?!

I’m not fat, I’m “pocchari-kei” (lil chubby-ish in a cute way ;))

Bridge the gap

I’ve always been a lousy person when it comes to keeping contacts with friends and relatives, in fact this blog was a way to bridge that gap.

Unfortunately it failed.

I always get my self entangled with the things that I have between my hands, I can’t seem to find a balance between the things I do;

  • If I like to eat something I’ll eat it till I get nausea.
  • At work I forget everything not related to the job I’m doing.
  • ..etc..

My manager raised the point more than once, I noticed it but always said to myself “I’ll cross the bridge when I get to it” (ironic isn’t it :? )

Bridge the gap failed

Don’t worry I’m not planing to stop blogging (the thought passed my mind a few times) this post is more of a complaint to myself (who knows I might learn my lesson).

The title of the post is in regards of the wedding preparations, I’ll be sending the invitations soon, so I’m starting to gather all the names and e-mails. I’m currently stuck with my friends in KSA, I can’t seem to get in touch with them by phone or e-mails.

I really hope to get a lead soon insha’ Allah :)

P.s. On the side bar you’ll find a new widget titled “Twitter Updates” below the weather and counter. I really hope to be more consistent with the updates ;)

The direct link to my page in twitter is here, I still need to discover it’s possibilities and potentials :D

Congratulations!!! :D

On the road to

4 December 2007 2:52 pm

I never thought that getting married was such a hassle!

A couple of posts back I said that it wasn’t that hard (actually it’s not) but it’s really time consuming.

I had to get a certificate stating that I’m a Muslim from the Tunisian mufty (I liked him :) ) the process got a bit on my nerve but that was caused by the mufty’s secretary (I hated him :( ). I wonder what should I do with that piece of paper, will it take me into heaven? or am I exempted from praying? I don’t mean to insult my religion or anyone, but I’m a but shocked that a paper exists stating that one is a Muslim or not!. If a person becomes a Muslim in Morocco and converts back in his home in Europe would that be OK? is he still a Muslim in Morocco?  - politics!!!

My fiancée is currently running around to get all the needed papers and approvals (God help her with the bureaucracy and shield her from the stupid/ignorant government employees) so that we can translate them and start the procedures in Italy. (below you’ll see a picture of her taken in a brief instant running between the various offices)

A brief glimps

Wish her and my self luck…  We have a lot of things to do :)

Never thought it would be easy, but…

Seriously, I’ve gone to the Italian embassy this morning to see what papers they need so that I can get married and get my future wife to Italy with me. I was a bit shocked since they didn’t ask for many things, I’ll need to be delegated from my future wife to announce our marriage in Italy (a medieval thing :? ) so I would to visit Milan a couple of times at least ;) + some extra papers that I can easily get (maybe, probably, HOPEFULLY).

Cuoricino

The other thing is since I’m going to get married as an Italian, the Tunisian government needs to be sure that I’m a Muslim, on Monday I’ll have to meet the Tunisian grand mufty (wow… what should I wear?). I don’t think that there would be any complications even after I met the secretary who wasn’t convinced that my name is Arabic :s (I won’t change my name!! I love jirukun ^_^)

Anyway… Pray for me guys :D
