Currently it’s the ninth month of the Arabic lunar calendar, the month is called “RAMADAN” (I repeat RamadaN with an ‘N’ and NOT an ‘M’)

Ramadan I would like to present you everybody, Everybody here is 10 day old Ramadan

Blabbercamel [Bbc] Now Ramadan can you explain a bit who and what are you please?

Ramadan [R] Hello everyone

[Bbc] Hello Ramadan

[R] I would like to thank you for inviting me to this blog so I could explain a bit about my self.

[Bbc] Your welcome, please do

[R] As you stated in the begining I’m the 9th month of the Arabic lunar calendar, therefor not associated in any way with September (even if this year we have met just briefly).

[Bbc] Yes, but can you explain your self a bit in detail please, I mean your importance in the muslim world?

[R] Honestly I would’nt know where to start, God bestowed on me many blessings and promisses to the faithful and who try hard to be a good muslim, not only that but he (God) hid with in me one of the holiest nights in the year (i.e. Laylat Al-Qadr).

[Bbc] Can you please tell us where was it hidden please and why?

[R] Ahhh good question… I would like to think about it as the lottery of lotteries, with an exception!! ANYONE can participate and WIN!! unlike the lotteries that people loose money in the hope to win anything, with it you can win and win BIG (and no one pay’s a cent) … And no I can’t tell you were it’s hidden

[Bbc] We’ll you can’t blame us for trying , But what else can you tell us about your self?

[R] Honestly it’s too much to explain and too hard to put in words, but I suggest to read here or here if you can, there are many more you can just search for them using Google for example.

[Bbc] Why did you point to non Arabic sites, when you are very important for Arabs and muslims? why not Arabic sites?

[R] Simple, I would like to present my self to other people who may not be native Arabic speakers, and besides Arabs who visit this site are very knowledgeable and fluent in English.

[Bbc] The proverbial two birds with one stone! Ok let’s move to a political setting if you please?

[R] A touchy subject.

[Bbc] Unfortunately it is!

[R] Well let me point out that the so called “mujahedeen” (or whatever they are called) who are currently blowing them self’s up in Afganistan and abducting and killing people in Irak are not Muslims, simply because in Islam and ESPECIALLY within me states that Islam is a religion of piece and refrain from many bad acts like the one’s stated here

“… During Ramadan, Muslims are also expected to put more effort into following the teachings of Islam by refraining from violence, anger, envy, greed, lust, angry and sarcastic retorts, refrain from gambling and betting and gossip …”

[Bbc] So there was never a war or violence acts during you passing?

[R] Unfortunately yes, but some were judged legal for self defence, for example the battle of Badr but that was an exception.

[Bbc] I would like to thank you Ramadan for this quick chit chat, and hope that people would reflect a bit and would have learned a some more about you.
