Obviously not :)

This is the second time that I’m posting the same video in my blog, it’s extremely stupid and dangerous (& hilarious ;) )

This time the movie should be on my site in wmv format, hope that the people who missed or can’t see the first post have the possibility to do so :D

Cheers

P.s. Thanks camellette

First Saudi Mass wedding

“Saudi Arabia holds its first mass wedding, paid for by the government to help couples who otherwise couldn’t afford a wedding celebration. More than 1,600 newlyweds were also given a two-day honeymoon, household appliances and gold for the bride.”

Saudi Arabia always had a problem related to weddings, too many women would end up single. How does the government tackle this problem?

Simple; they prohibit Saudi men from marrying any woman who is not Saudi! :?

Personally I think that this is exteremely stupid, and illigal as a human & Muslim, my religion allows me to marry any woman who is of faith (Muslim, Christian, Jewish) obviously it would be impossibile to marry a Jewish, so who’s left?

Christians…. That’s possibile, but to be honest, I don’t think that it would be simple and easy after the Danish issue!

So the men are stuck to Muslim women (NOT that they are bad or anything) but they have to be Saudi!!!

– I’ll continue this in another post :(

Riiiiight!!

Remember a few posts back?

I remember reading an update on the BBC a while back,  but today I got pissed off reading this.

I’m not going to translate the whole thing, this gist is that “SOMEONE” from OUTSIDE the religious agency is the culprit.

  • Who was he? Was he an over zealous friend of a muttawa3?
  • Who was he? Was he one of the many “rubber necks” that gather around what is happening to watch?
  • Is it a cover up?

I’m more inclined to the third point.

I’m not against the religion or anything, but I had innumerable run ins with the religious police when I used to live in camel land, and they were idiots! stupid! ignorant! uneducated people! (with a few exceptions). Seriously how can a person not working for the agency get in and kill a person? If it was a “by stander” how could they let him in and HIT one of the suspects? Did they just watch?

The Arabic article stated that the members of the religious police were 18, so how can this guy get in and not being seen and hit the suspect?

I really believe in the Islamic religion and it’s law’s, I hope that the guy is going to get what he deserves, and if this is a cover up to “clean” the name of the religious police they would need to find better excuses (WE ARE NOT IN THE MIDDLE AGES, AND WE ARE NOT STUPID)

Camels maybe ;)

Talk about nothing to do :s

This is what I read today here

Saudis hold five religious police

Map

Five members of the Saudi religious police, the Mutawaeen, have been
arrested accused of being responsible for the death of a man in
custody.

The man died at a Mutawaeen office in Tabuk, the Saudi authorities say.

Officials said the man had been questioned for allegedly associating with a woman who was not a relative.

It is the latest in a series of abuse allegations
levelled against members of the Mutawaeen, whose task is to enforce a
strict Islamic moral code.

Many Saudis have accused them of being overzealous in the pursuit of their duties.

The man, who has not been named, died on Friday in the north-eastern city.

Saudi press reports say police are also investigating
the death of an Asian woman who fell from the fourth floor of a
building that was stormed by Mutawaeen last week.

A year ago, the government decreed that Mutawaeen could
not interrogate detained suspects, as they had previously done, but
must immediately hand them over to regular police.

I hope that they get the death sentence for this.

Goodby family and Friends :’( you’ll be sadly missed.

The image “http://storage.msn.com/x1pc_jqddVOWRlninORy_NgMbQkfzJfLydIAfmr64tKngWFjhC4iq7JV4h2GKCSoJaqj9x7AwU6a2SujqtPP1q3hLqc40rry9qxQMgWihhlXbdD6UlaMZo-k7FRT6CADVKXBuf61oKxmdc” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
This vacation was one of the toughest I ever had, only 12 days to manage to visit everyone.
Today officially I’m back to work, I’ll spend 18h travelling, since I’ll be leaving from Milan to Tunis directly, after over 2000km behind my back it’s really hard to go back and restart with the hectic rithym the work has to offer, hell! I need a vacation from my vacation :) (I doubt if my manager would agree ;))
While I was in KSA, I tried to download work e-mail’s but with the sporadic connection available I didn’t manage to do anything, I really hope that I do not have a lot of catch up to do.

Not as I remembered…

18h’s in KSA and I already regret being here :(
I’ve lost 2h of my time trying to connect to my company’s VPN, I think it’s not allowed via wireless connection :( (that’s dumb), in a couple of days I’ll try a regular DSL connection and see, I didn’t download my mail in over 9 days, I would imagine that my mailbox has exploded.
The thing I hate the most is taking showers, I have to open the hot water tap to get cold water (the water heater is not connected) if water is available :? filling the main tank from the secondary takes four to five hours :’(
Tomorrow I’ll buy clothes (thobe, etc…) and take the pictures, hoping that I can renew my passport in time.

Sorry for the rant, I needed to get it out of my system :)

Peace

P.s. My family is OK :D (al7amdullilah)
P.p.s. I can’t connect to Gmail
